The Energy Industry Competency Framework (EICF) , an initiative aimed at aligning technical and vocational institutions with the requirements of the oil and gas industry, as well as to offer students an alternate route to employment, was officially launched yesterday by the Energy Department at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and the Ministry of Education.
